WL- Developer Updates (late march)

The first major update to WatchList: The Movie App was launched for iOS last Friday (March 22) and the Android-side update is in review with the Play Store and will be launched once approval is granted.

In addition to fixing the issues with the "People" search and slow loading times, a few features were added including...

• Improved recommended feed algorithm

• A reset recommended feed option

• Editing capabilities in the SeenList

• And a daily streak counter at the top of a user's profile

Looking forward, there are issues on my end that need to be ironed out, however, the prospect of a further update with additional features- such as more expansive movie details in search, feed, and profile- is in the early works.

Additionally, time and effort is being put into our socials and marketing, to better spread the awareness of WatchList and our goal of always knowing what to watch.
